Welcome to Family Karate Clubs, my name is Nick James or Master James during class.   I have been training in Martial Arts for twenty seven years now, and commenced my training at Stretford, Manchester in 1994 where I passed my first black belt dan test in 1998, followed by my second, third fourth and fifth dan.  Family Karate Clubs are very much run as a family unit by myself and my partner and two children.  I am also assisted by Adele who helps and make Family Karate Clubs the success it is today. Myself (Master James ) and my wife Adele are certified martial arts instructors and also enhanced CRB checked.

Our clubs are based on fun for the children with the emphasis on the key concepts being respect, discipline, concentration and confidence building. Parts of the Martial Arts Training Programme for the children consists of mat chats ensuring all children are aware of the following:

·         Potential Stranger Dangers

·         First Aid

·         Fire Safety

·         Health and Wellbeing

·         Road Safety

·         many more!!!!!

We also encourage the parents of the children to join in the classes if they want to. Currently, my student's age ranges from 4 up to 65+.

Please note all members are encouraged to progress at their own pace in an environment where they are free from physical harm or emotional intimidation.
